What is an allergy?
Generally speaking, an allergy is an extreme immune response that the body triggers when it is in contact with an "allergen". The body, at one point, has tagged the allergen as "non-self and DANGEROUS", even when it is not truly a dangerous substance.
What is Allergy Elimination?
Allergy Elimination is a treatment strategy that helps patients reduce symptoms and even get rid of their allergies completely. It is generally a "one-time treatment; lifetime result" situation.
How does the treatment work?
The idea behind the treatment is that the body's immunse system is retrained to accept the allergen as "non-self, but NOT DANGEROUS". Like it is in people that do not have allergies.
What happens during a treatment?
The patient brings in a sample of something that contains the allergen.
If it is a food allergy, they would bring in a sample of the food or a food item that contains the allergen.
If it is a seasonal allergy, they can bring in the plant/substance that causes the allergen or they can bring in a rag that collected some of the allergens.
If it is an animal allergy, they can bring in some fur, dander and saliva from the animal. We can discuss what you can bring in, so be sure to let us know it is an allergy you want treated so we can know what you should bring in.
During the session, the patient will hold onto the substance (or hold onto an item that is holding the substance). The patient will have two needling sessions; one face down, with needles on the back and one face up with needles on arms, legs and torso.
When the session is over, the items will be taken away from the patient, and the patient will need to stay at least 3-feet from the allergen for the next 25 hours.
After the 25-hour timeline, the body is reset.
For airborne allergies or seaonal allergies, some "leave-in" tacks will be placed on hands and feet for a boost in treatment, so the patient has time to go out and get back indoors away from allergen.
These "tacks" are similar to the ear tacks we use on patients for extended treatment purposes.
What allergies have you treated?
In the past almost 30 years of practice, I have treated many allergies successfully. Most all of them were a one-time treatment, life-time elimination situation. I have treated people who were allergic to:
1. Smoke and Dust; one patient in particular wanted to go to Burning Man and when there had no issues in the dessert or any of the events that weekend.
2. Dairy: with dairy, we need to distinguish between "dairy allergy" vs "lactose intolerance". This treatment does not help those with lactose intolerance, but it does help if there a true dairy allergy. After treatment, patients were able to drink milk, eat ice cream and have milk chocolates with no issues.
3. Seasonal allergies of all sorts: These include ragweed, grass and other pollens or plants that grow in your areas. The treatment works best when we use the actual plant, but we have had success with patients who bring in a rag that was wet and collected the pollens/air-borne allergens. One patient in particular, after treatment, was allergy free. One year later, she was still allergy free while the rest of her family suffered all the allergic symptoms. They asked her "Why aren't you getting allergies?" She said, "Because Phranque treated me for them, so I don't have them anymore." That was how I got the rest of her family to come in for treatments.
4. Food allergies: This includes allergies to nuts, seafood, tomatoes and other food allergies. One patient in particular would go into anaphylactic shock if even a drop of shellfish contaminated her food. Many of her friends were aware of this danger and always kept an eye on her. She came in for treatment and it stopped her allergic reactions. She went out and ate a whole plate of shrimp in front of her startled friends who thought she was going to die, until nothing happened. They asked her how she can eat shellfish now and she said, "Phranque gave me an allergy elimination treatment" her friends asked, "Who's Phranque?" She told them and that was how I got a plethora of other patients to come in for various conditions beyond allergy elimination.
5. Animal allergies: Now, to be fully upfront, this is the hardest allergy to treat and I believe it is because animal fur and dander and saliva are in everything when we have pets. It's in our clothes, on our skin, in the car, at home, everywhere. It's not impossible, but it is difficult to stay away for 25 hours. I have helped people with this and I myself had gotten help with animal allergies in the past. But it is the most difficult and may need a few treatments to stick.
I know there are more foods, environmental factors and conditions that create allergies. If you have one, give us a call and let's discuss how we can plan your treatment to relieve you of this allergy and help you live a more full life with less sneezing, coughing, itching, burning or whatever it does to you personally.
